Why High Intensity?

Exercise is Medicine!

Intense exercise, specifically non-contact boxing classes have proven to reverse, reduce and even delay the symptoms of PD. We aim to get our boxers in their 60-80% target heart rate zone during the high intensity portion of the class. We help you get out of your comfort zone safely and push you slightly past your limits and get that DOPAMINE working overtime!

“But I exercise, I walk everyday.”

Walking is NOT enough. Walking is something we need to do everyday just to stay alive. Unfortunately it will not slow down the progression of Parkinson’s disease or many other aging related effects.

Anyone at any level can lessen their symptoms and lead a healthier and happier life :)
